Aurea seals promotion to Serie C!

After a heart-pounding series against league leaders Demones Ozieri, Fisiokons Aurea Sassari clinched a historic promotion to the top regional championship with a decisive Game 3 victory at the PalaMurratzu in Ozieri.

The clash delivered three drama-filled encounters against the Logudoresi favorites, with home-court advantage overturned every single time.

Aurea struck first with a road win in Game 1. Still, the true masterpiece came in Game 3: Coach Basoli’s men, after two thrilling overtimes, secured a spot in the finals against Miners Carbonia — and with it, direct promotion to Serie C.
